Sr. Solutions Architect/Solutions Architecture

Principal Functions (Major Regions of Responsibility):

Provides consultative support and technical expertise in Pre Sales situations. Manages the proposal composition for customer requests and major bids. Works in close coordination with Sales and customer IT team to build up product and solution design for specific customer requirements. In charge of understanding customer requirements, coordinating with internal departments and outside vendors to build up solutions and offerings that leverage Etisalat products to handle these requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identifies and clarifies customers’ current and future business initiatives and needs and respective technical requirements.
  • Collects information from customer about their existing IT and telecommunications conducts and infrastructure analyses.
  • Communicates with respective Sales to comprehend customer’s history, competitive environment, planned strategy, tactics along with other sales activities.
  • Means that given info on existing products can be acquired by interfacing with Product Marketing, Engineering along with other internal stakeholders.
  • Creates demand on customer’s side.
  • Provides technical support/advice on the development of proposals, solution and bids selling.
  • Researches hardware and software products or Etisalat services, and finds best prices and answers to meet business requirements. Subsequently, present and translate the look to customers to guarantee the solution will meet up with the customers’ requirements.
  • Assesses price, quality and performance relationships for every solution in addition to its total cost useful.
  • Compares possible Etisalat solutions with competitors’ solutions with regards to price, performance and quality and prepares supporting arguments for presentation and negotiation with customer.
  • Identifies future and current opportunities for cross and up-selling and proposes them to Sales.
  • Provides technical advice to Sales and provides technical direction, guidance and more impressive range technical support.
  • Develops winning proposals for customer requirements/RFP’s, dealing with Etisalat Product Marketing closely, Engineering, Contracts and external vendor partners. Carries out effective customer presentations to provide solutions proposed.
  • Supports Professional Project and Services Management teams and Etisalat contracts in developing project plans, negotiating and drafting scope of contract and work documents.
  • Develops Conducts and training workout sessions to sales on Etisalat Products.
  • Presents Etisalat in technical and marketing events dealing with product marketing to provide Etisalat products closely.


Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or perhaps a related discipline with 4-6 years’ experience in presales, solution design & development.
