Job Purpose The Strategic Planning Manager is in charge of the delivery of high-quality asset management strategies and can ensure that the complete life cycle of assets are managed effectively and ensuring the minimum integrity standards of most assets are exceeded over the Client’s FM asset portfolio. This is attained by effective maintenance planning and the achievement of operational availability targets through contracted providers to meet up the availability and service level expectations of your client, the Facilities Manager and its own customers. Principal Accountabilities Leadership • Manage key relationship activities within your client organization, the Facility contractor and Manager supply chain for Asset Management, and Planning. • Lead and coordinate the Facility Manager cross-functional Teams to make sure delivery of cost effective for your client from its assets, asset performance and data, consistent with Facility Manager Objectives and best practice. • Lead and manage the team/self to make sure sustained performance by motivating professional development, coaching, and mentoring and performance orientation. • Work collaboratively with wider Facility Manager Team champion and members the ethos of best practice value assured. • Any duties which may be assigned by the reporting Director AFM Strategy, Planning & Policy • Delivery of a secured asset Management Strategy (AMS) to create value and best practice over the Client’s assets. • Manage the development and execution of the Complex’s Asset Facility Management (AFM) Technique to deliver optimum value from all physical assets • Implement and manage an AMS consistent with ISO 55001 system, and attain ISO accreditation for such. • Manage the development and implementation of an extended term SAMP and Life Cycle Costing to aid the administrative centre investment planning process around 20-30 years outlook. • Lead asset life expiry projections and ensure they are communicated to your client on a continuing basis in a way that replacement activity could be managed effectively. • Manage the creation and maintenance of a secured asset register of all Complex’s assets • Manage the development and maintenance of AFM policies and procedures in coordination with key internal and external stakeholders • Embed the AFM culture and communicate the AFM strategic goals and plans to teams to make sure a clear knowledge of AFM goals and objectives over the Client and its own AFM partners AFM Operational Planning • Develop the three to five-year SAMP plans for the Complex to make sure that sufficient resources (equipment, human, and financial) can be found to meet the mandatory demand • Develop the annual SAMP plan and coordinate all required suppliers, to be able to support the Airport Operations teams to provide optimal service to customers, maximize equipment and asset availability and optimize AFM costs. Monitor the performance of shipped services contrary to the plan. • Use suppliers to make sure comprehensive, cost-effective maintenance plans are ready to meet up with the SAMP objectives • Make sure that for all assets, prepared work maintenance regimes come in place which delivers operational availability targets at optimum cost. • Lead the implementation and preparation of most AFM Operational Quality strategies, policies and procedures, with any relevant Client corporate procedures and policies, national and international standards and good practice • Manage the allocation of space (warehousing)/logistics coordination for AFM suppliers Asset Integration • Manage the handover of most new assets which are delivered in to the airport environment with fully compliant maintenance plans, technical records and so are budgeted within the SAMP. • Make sure that external and internal SLA’s are developed and agreed between your Facility Manager and your client and. • Make sure that that handover documentation (which includes work plans) will be progressively developed and examined during the project and that through this review process make sure that the grade of documentation is guaranteed. • Make sure that the maintenance cost implications of project delivery are usually progressively set up and refined through costing of the maintenance work plans. • Make sure that the Asset spares requirements of new facilities are usually comprehended, and that spares are usually organized such that they could be obtained consistent with operational need from the idea of handover. Asset Reporting • Develop and keep maintaining the AFM asset life cycle projections for operational and capital replacements. • Develop periodically (i.e. monthly, quarterly, annual, and end year) AFM forecasts, technical and performance reports for assets beneath the control of the Facility Manager, and any relevant reports for performance supervising/management purposes • Manage the analysis of asset data combined with the Data Analytics team to supply insights to support your choice producing and operations of the Management Company.
Qualifications Education/ Qualification • Bachelor Degree Level (minimum) – Asset Management, Property Management, Facilities Management, Business Management, Finance Management, Contract Management.
