Sodexo adds 18 new academy schools to its catering portfolio

Sodexo has won a three-year catering deal worth £1.3 million yearly with Birmingham Diocesan Multi Academy Trust (BDMAT) at its 18 academy schools.

BDMAT’s portfolio of 17 primary schools, within Warwickshire and Birmingham, attracts over 3 currently,800 pupils. Sodexo’s contract includes the trust’s brand-new purpose-built secondary school also, Christ Church Secondary Academy, in Yardley Wood, In September for about 190 year 7 pupils in its first year birmingham which opens.

The brand new contract will dsicover Sodexo transfer over 50 staff from multiple catering providers to make a one-team catering approach. Each educational school will undoubtedly be involved with Sodexo’s Food & Co makeover led by pupils themselves and can are the Five Foodie Days menu.

Meals will include a different theme for every day of the week: the world, street food, world food, friday favourites originals and.  Dishes on the menu shall reflect local pupil demographics and also have been informed by research outcomes, emulating traditional food and trends favourites which connect to the five foodie themes.

A menu payment&nbsp and pre-order;platform, ‘School Food United’, may also be implemented to aid busy families on the run and ensure pupils have the ability to eat their selection of lunch each day.
