The Biomedical Senior Engineer is in charge of managing the day-to-day activities of the biomedical engineering medical equipment support services department. Provide direction and advice to departmental staff readily. • Review, audit, and take part in decision support actions linked to problem diagnosis, restoration, preventative quality and maintenance assurance of patient related equipment. • Preparing and supervising the day-to-day routines of the area; streamlining processes whenever we can. • Understand and communicate Policies, Work and procedures Instructions. • Develop the required training of employees across all locations for subordinates to get the skill level to use and keep maintaining the medical devices. • Generate monthly record on the corrective servicing with suggestions. • Perform audit on the corrective upkeep for several medical devices under (Healthcare Equipment Maintenance Program) MEMP. • Monitor function performed by outside contractors to make sure specifications are met and email address details are documented properly. • In charge of repairing or servicing more technical devices. • Schedule device maintenance activities to minimise physical and clinical risk, in line with the established requirements and (Medical Equipment Administration Strategy) MEMP • n conjunction with a healthcare facility Management team, make sure that major incident, business emergency and continuity planning arrangements are in-place, understood and practiced because they relate to operational program robustness. • Develop Preventive Upkeep procedures for several medical devices in a healthcare facility. • Implement Maintenance Approaches for all medical gadgets under (Medical Equipment Administration Plan) MEMP. • Means that all Preventive Servicing is carried out, according to statutory, OEM specs, or international best exercise. • Perform audits on the Preventive Upkeep for several medical devices under (Healthcare Equipment Management Program) MEMP. • Provides are accountable to Senior Management frequently on the PM efficiency. • Monitor the stock of biomedical equipment components and stand-by apparatus to make sure minimum disruption of affected person care. • Use department head/Supervisors on projects linked to equipment acquisition, set up, renovation, removal or modification. • Validate the efficiency and effectiveness of the operational processes, both and externally and implement improvement processes internally; as required. • Evaluate elements linked to safety, outcomes, performance, cost and social impact when implementing and developing practice innovations. • Participate on different committees, related to gear and organisational operation. • Take part in projects, equipment, policy and staff decisions that affect staff care. • Manage the performance of others and self and continue personal professional development through CPD, training and education
