JOB Overview

 

Assists in the oversight of the every day shift procedures of Housekeeping, Recreation/Wellness Club and, if relevant, Laundry. Works together with employees to make sure property guestrooms, public area and employee places are clean and nicely maintained. Completes inspections and keeps people in charge of corrective action. Position assists in making sure guest and employee fulfillment while maintaining the working budget.

 

Assisting in Managing Housekeeping Procedures

 

  • Ensures guest room standing is communicated to leading Table in a timely and effective manner.
  • Works efficiently with the Engineering division on guestroom maintenance requirements.
  • Supervises the house general cleaning routine.
  • Obtains set of areas to be cleaned instantly and list of potential check-outs or discharges to get ready work assignments.
  • Inventories stock to make sure adequate materials.
  • Assists in the guidance of daily Housekeeping change functions and ensures compliance with all housekeeping policies, procedures and standards.
  • Assists in the purchasing of guestroom supplies, cleaning uniforms and supplies.
  • Supports and supervises a highly effective inspection program for several guestrooms and public room.
  • Communicates areas that require focus on staff and follows around ensure knowing.
