Polyteck launches apprenticeship programme to create its own pipeline of skilled engineers

The construction and amenities management company has launched its apprenticeship programme to handle the skills shortage, this season with plans to defend myself against eight apprentices.

The shift will deal with the shortage of engineers in the market, a shortage recognised by the government’s Migration Advisory Committee, which lists a variety of engineering functions on its Shortage Occupation Checklist. 

Polyteck’s three-year program, structured across its London agreements, will allow apprentices to build up their skills in a number of places across engineering and management, offering them an easy selection of job opportunities to select from within the ongoing organization on completion. 

Created by Polyteck to match the requirements of the growing company, the apprenticeship program, funded by the Apprenticeship Levy, will be launching with 6 apprentices, this season with programs to recruit yet another two later, year and 5 further apprentices each subsequent. 

Polyteck’s Degree 3 apprenticeship will contain four to five times per week onsite and something day almost every other Friday of on-line learning, with modules which includes building services and electric engineering.

The scheme is available to anyone, with at the very least a GCSE quality 4 in Maths and English or comparative preferable. Graduates will get a populous city & Guilds Degree 3 Diploma inside Engineering in addition to a working job present with Polyteck.
