Park District Offsets Electrical Costs With Rooftop Solar Array


Vernon Hills Recreation area District, in collaboration with Trane® by Trane Technology, has set up a rooftop solar array at its upkeep facility that produces sufficient energy to offset 70% of the building’s yearly electric use.

The facility runs completely on electrical energy without the usage of natural gas and contains maintained a 15% decrease in electrical expenses for the final four yrs.
