Norse Group’s jv Daventry Norse provides announced it’ll now work beneath the new title of West Northamptonshire Norse, within the county’s forthcoming reorganisation of municipality.
Norse’s present environmental services companion Daventry District Council will undoubtedly be replaced by the brand new West Northamptonshire Council upon 1 April.
The new unitary council – which will replace Northampton Borough, South Northamptonshire councils and the county council – can be Norse’s collective jv partner for providing environmental services in the Daventry area.
Under the brand new title, West Northamptonshire Norse shall continue steadily to supply the same frontline services, including waste selection, grounds maintenance, maintaining play road and equipment cleansing.
West Northamptonshire Norse Functions Director, Nick Drake, said: “It’s extremely exciting to be dealing with our upcoming collective jv partners from West Northamptonshire Council.
“Despite our name change, it will be very much company as usual for all of us, as we all look for to pull together to supply the best solutions we can for individuals of West Northamptonshire.”
Councillor Jo Gilford, Atmosphere Portfolio Holder at Daventry District Council and a known person in the West Northamptonshire Shadow Authority, added: “We anticipate continuing to utilize Norse, building our productive connection mutually, providing a variety of cost-effective frontline providers on our behalf to nearby residents.
“We are very happy to start to see the joint venture’s brand new name link to the near future unitary council and desire West Northamptonshire Norse every success in the years ahead.”
