MEP & PPM FM Senior Manager – WFC Holding – Abu Dhabi

The Role

Job Purpose The MEP & PPM Senior Manager is in charge of the contracted services management and operational coordination of day-to-day Facilities Management services for Mechanical, Electrical, Civils and Plumbing (MEP) services through the contracted providers and Facility Manager resources to meet up availability and service level expectations of your client, the Facility Manager and its own customers all sites, and based on the Sinyar’s and Client’s asset management strategy. Principal Accountabilities Leadership • Lead the Facility Manager MEP Services Team to make sure delivery of cost effective and presentation for your client from its assets, contractor technical and financial performance, and reporting, consistent with Facility Manager Objectives and best practice. • Set optimum standards of leadership in promotion of HS&E procedures and best practice, ensuring compliance with Company procedures and legal obligations. • Manage team and self to adhere to all Facility Manager and Sinyar, and relevant client, procedures and policies. • Lead the united team to make sure sustained performance by ensuring motivation via professional development, coaching, performance and mentoring orientation. • Work collaboratively with wider Facility Manager Team champion and members the ethos of best practice value assured. • Any duties which may be assigned by the reporting manager Services Delivery • Manage and oversee the performance of contracted providers and operational coordination for the delivery of MEP & PPM asset and facility management services to meet up with the availability and service level expectations of your client and its customers. • Continuously make an effort to improve customer airport and experience rating in MEP services delivery. • Manage and oversee MEP HVAC services delivery and maintenance including: * Directing, monitoring and controlling the actions of most HVAC and MEP assets. * Creating a detailed knowledge of the MEP and HVAC contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, MEP systems interrelationships * Acting as key liaison point and offer oversight over MEP and HVAC suppliers. • Validating design options linked to hard services maintenance and suggest alternative solutions where appropriate • Overseeing the scope review, budgeting and justification of HVAC and MEP change work orders • Coordinating and administering MEP and HVAC related materials, systems and drawings submittals • Making certain MEP and HVAC suppliers provide and abide by relevant Quality documentation/records • Making certain MEP and HVAC suppliers stick to project safety regulations • Overseeing and managing the testing and commissioning of newly installed MEP and HVAC equipment • Optimize and manage the asset lifecycle through effective and best practice maintenance principles • Manage and oversee asset shutdowns and outages with regards to MEP and HVAC Service Delivery • Manage and oversee asset decommissioning and reliability engineering with regards to MEP and HVAC Service Delivery • Manage and monitor daily supplier compliance and quality assurance • Manage general upkeep and maintenance of assets to make sure safe practices standards and legal requirements are met • Liaise with Manager Supplier Performance Management to track suppliers’ performance, and prepare tips for improvement • Tabs on facility and asset maintenance performance through observations. • In charge of implementation of streamlined MEP and HVAC Service work practices across all locations within the contract scope that meet up with the needs of your client.

Requirements

Qualifications Education/ Qualification • Bachelor Degree Level (minimum) – Relevant Engineering qualification Work Experience • Minimum 7 years’ experience with at the very least 5 years in general management roles, with increasing degrees of responsibility, preferably in the aviation industry • Proven delivery of results at similar level, around contracted service delivery particularly, facilities and assets management in a complex, critical and security sensitive environment.
