Manager – Hospitality & Leisure – Red Castle – Abu Dhabi



Job Overview

Support the clean execution of functions of leisure and hospitality resources; interface with Development Administration on new leisure and hospitality projects/expansions.

Periodic reporting of hospitality and leisure asset performance


Duties

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all motorists and marketplace trends affecting the hospitality and leisure sector
  • Receive continuous updates from leisure and hospitality operators upon asset performance and update Head of Hospitality and Leisure
  • Ongoing monitoring, evaluation and pooling of most extensive research paperwork and source data such as for example hospitality and leisure databases and reports, Superstar information, historical financials, administration accounts, forecast P&L etc.
  • Creation of reviews/presentations on outlooks and developments within the hospitality and leisure industry (UAE, GCC and globally if required)
  • Operational performance tracking and tabs on KPIs (hotel costs and operations), including periodic reviews with all asset operators
  • Manage day-to-time relations with hospitality/leisure operators
  • Perform in-depth operational evaluation (procurement, costs, operational administration etc.) on current portfolio and competitor peer established to assess continuous asset efficiency
  • Review expenses and recommend procurement and cost-cutting steps whilst maintaining product high quality and customer service/knowledge
  • Develop and put into action operational strategies to enhance the worth of the portfolio
  • Create/modify financial versions and feasibility research and undertake sensitivity analysis for asset acquisitions/disposals/renovations/expansions
  • Compile bespoke presentations in outcomes of feasibility assessments
  • Undertake property testimonials and homework
  • Completion of periodic evaluation for every asset
  • Become primary interface with Growth Management and Construction/Style teams inside renovation/expansion of current assets and structure of brand-new assets
  • Ensure that capital projects are completed promptly and on specification
  • Ensure project expansion/renovation/construction is on target
  • Update Head of Hospitality and Leisure on project development status
  • Making certain property requirements for ground lessors, alternative party lender requirements, local taxing and zoning authorities


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor degree in hospitality/property management, engineering, business or economics
  • Operational experience with the least 10 years’ experience in procurement, facilities management and/or estate management
  • Experience in vast selection of hospitality/leisure properties: hotels, services apartments, theme/amusement parks etc.
  • Experience in PM and FM issues / problems and respective remedial actions


Required Skills

  • Effective stakeholder relationship management; conflict resolution / managements skills
  • Track record of dealing with development/design teams on capital projects alongside excellent project management skills
  • Capability to train and mentor junior colleagues
  • Tabs on F&amp and hotel;B operations
  • Capability to understand financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, CF) associated with Hospitality and Leisure operations
  • Experience with assessing, analyzing and presenting new investment ideas/concepts -Exposure to initial create of a F&amp or hotel;B outlet will be a plus
  • Strong excel and PowerPoint skills, to become in a position to create financial models and compile intelligence reports
