THE WORK Opportunity

Serco wants an IT/AV Projects Officer who’ll provide impressive and cohesive support and timely delivery of departmental operations and projects. This consists of assisting the IT Manager in providing effective technical, data driven analytical, administrative and management support to all or any areas of projects, performance & IT/AV operations. Ensure satisfactory completion of the allocated reactive and planned maintenance, including technical and projects support ensuring d evelopment and completion of the allocated service deliverables of IT/AV services for the Zayed University contract.

Key accountabilities

Take part in project work including refurbishment of existing building equipment/systems and/or new installations.

Support the Manager to build up, manage and report integrated programme schedules, including planning related project metrics and reports.

Provide planning expertise to get the development of projects work and delivery instructions.

Support facilitating projects from inception to completion with the reason to build up and deliver project schedules and associated data.

A key point for the implementation and development of planning improvements to improve contracts project delivery capability.

In charge of managing the accuracy of data within project plans and associated documentation.

Support the production and development of planning related project reports & metrics.

Support the provision of project resource management, including development & management of scheduled project plans encompassing the complete project lifecycle

Provide planning expertise to get the development of Programme

Specific requirements Experience in organising IT projects to build up and deliver project plans using best planning practice

Experience of employed in a Programme Management Office – PMI, Prince2 or equivalent environment. Minimum 2 years’ experience providing IT/AV support in a building services and/or FM environment. Minimum 2 years’ experience in development and implementation of best practice standards and processes.
