Role: HSQE Officer (MPM Properties)

Location: MPM Properties – Abu Dhabi

Responsible of HSQE inspections and providers.

Responsible of Implementing HSQE policies and Plans

Manage HSQE Performance across all sites for several ongoing service providers.

Prepare necessary HSQE reports alongside mitigation recommendations and solutions.

Liaise with other departments to make sure compliance with HSQE regulations and requirements


Site visit and evaluate new properties from HSE and MEP perspective and make sure that each is complying with local HSE authority’s requirements and regulations, and offer any recommendation if required.

Advise answers to HSE and MEP issues.

Coordinate with local HSE authorities to update MPM related properties requirements and status.

Provide current understanding of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes.

Current with new trends in the HSE & MEP field and any new regulations or laws.

Always make sure that the MPM is complying with Hussantuk requirements and follow-up with their payments.

Inspect and ensure all HSE and MEP equipment’s in the properties have been in operational mode, and recommend any improvements required if any.

Conduct proactive periodic inspections to market safety leadership at contract site.

Ensure all contractors along with other personnel on site understand and adhere to HSE regulations and requirements.

Liaise with FM Inspectors and Engineers on HSE Incidents and near misses.

Provide adequate information, instruction, supervision, and training to MPM employees in matters linked to HSQE.

Daily report HSE Violations and follow ups in implementing controls and corrective/preventive actions to mitigate to risk.

Provide HSE support on site as required.

Ensure all reporting meets MPM’s requirements regularly.

Coordinate with Facility Engineers/ inspectors and property management and Call center to make sure that compliance to regulatory requirements and instructions from regulatory authorities met.

Make sure that documentations for HSE Management systems consistent with OHSAS 18001:2007 standards, and international and local reporting requirements.

In charge of safety compliance to the HSE Federal and regulations Laws.

Review and approved Method Statements, Risk Assessments and emergency plans.

Coordinate with ALTERNATIVE PARTY service providers when it comes to HSE matters.

In charge of adherence to company guidelines.

Developing, updating and implementing HSQE plans, procedures and measures.

Coordinate with the senior management regarding the implementation of the Safety Management System onsite and the ongoing instructions to all or any personnel in its use.

Execution/reviewing/monitoring of required QHSE Inspection for Properties , Service providers’ offices, reporting findings to the facilities Head and engineers of FM.

Conducting regular safety checks and escalating emergency and feedbacks issues to the Project Facility Engineer and head of FM.

Establishing, Managing and administrating safety evacuation and plans drills.

Eliminating hazardous condition.

Developing and recommending a fresh HSE procedures and revising the prevailing ones.

Ensuring HSE areas of the assets and operations and providing inspection and alerts reports.

Maintain HSQE risk sign up for all properties

Performing random and periodic inspections of the project sites, contract properties and sites according to schedule from Head of FM and produce reports.

Perform HSE Audits on HSE aspects linked to soft services and hard services by FM Team and Contractors.

Conduct HSQE inductions and training for MPM FM team

Manage Safety Induction activities for providers

Prepare , monitor and produce Safety induction topic and training materials

Recommend disciplinary actions on safety violations.

Ensure all operatives are wearing PPE on site during working hours.

In a position to work or as part of a team independently.

Train and Educate FM staff on the HSE regulations.

Develop, Review, Recommend and research Safety related training and programs.

Directly in charge of the provision of facilities services at band of properties to Best Practice standards. Review new properties specification and plans and ensure safety requirements are met.

Inspect all MPM properties, report the status of any safe practices issues and take required measure and escalate (as needed) to other action owners within MPM and /or ADIB and /or owners and /or authorities to be able to rectify those safety issues and stop and safe practices incidents.

Monitor fit out and refurbishment projects in al HSQE related aspects , to make sure compliance with MPM Authorities and requirements and regulatory requirements

Previous experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience employed in an identical role within FM industry .
