HSE Officer – Safe Green Safety Consultancies – Abu Dhabi

Duties and Responsibilities

· Provide energetic assistance in the implementation of LAD HSE administration system through proficient HSE suggestions and promote procedures that lead to a confident HSE culture on the Musuem premises

· Become the idea of contact for several HSE related matters through the shift

· Make sure that HSE providers meet both inner and external specifications, including lawful compliance and stakeholder anticipations

· Coordinate activities necessary to meet HSE criteria

· Keep track of and recommend on the efficiency of the HSE administration system and produces information and reports on functionality, measuring against established indicators

· Utilise automated HSE administration system procedures for monitoring and handle actions

· Liaise with additional departments throughout LAD to make sure that the HSE management program is functioning correctly and where appropriate, suggest on changes and their implementation and offer training, tools and ways to enable others to attain the required HSE overall performance

· Established HSE improvement goals and making certain targets are attained

· Assessing specs and its providers, and evaluating with stakeholders’ needs

· Develop and keep maintaining a solid internal/external stakeholder focus; develop effective relationships and work very well with all continuing parties to attain stakeholder satisfaction.

· Keep track of and audit HSE efficiency of LAD providers and contracted providers ensuring HSE functionality will be in compliance to contractual SLAs and KPIs

· Perform HSE audits periodically

· Dealing with procuremetn and logistics staff to determine and ensure HSE specifications from external providers

· Defining HSE procedures together with working staff

· Drafting/updating HSE treatments and guifleines as so when required according to LAD requirements

· Conduct HSE risk assessments and assure controls are in spot to reduce risk

· Develop KPI charts and utilize the Well balanced Scorecard for overall performance supervising

· Identify appropriate HSE related training requirements and deliver trainings and recognition

· Gather staff of various disciplines and generating the group to program, formulate and agree extensive HSE techniques

· Liaise with stakeholders’ auditors and make certain the execution of corrective motion and compliance with stakeholders’ specs

· Ensure project risk evaluation and job hazard evaluation (JHA)

· Keep track of HSE efficiency by collecting relevant information and producing statistical reviews

· Ensuring the emergency plans are in location and initiate mock drills

· Ensure all HSE incidents, mishaps and near misses are usually investigated and corrective activities applied

· Ensure HSE communications are usually successfully managed at all ranges

· Take part in Emergency & MEDICAL routines

· Record near misses, incident and initiate/take part in incident investigations

· Take part in cross useful HSE meetings when needed within coordination and conversation

· Take immediate actions in the event of observing an unsafe work or problem posing an imminent threat of death or severe injury and perform the mandatory communications with all worried stakeholders

· Additional duties as designated.

Required Knowledge and Abilities

· 05-07 years of overall expertise in FM industry comparable or large tasks, airports, hospitals and big malls as HSE officer. Museum experience is extremely favored

· Minimum 03 years’ experience write-up NEBOSH qualifications

· Good information and connection with using automated apps for HSE administration

· Solid written and verbal conversation abilities in English

· Capability to lead a group and work precisely

· Well-organized sufficient reason for time management abilities

· Proficient with Microsoft Workplace software program (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Good technical record writing abilities

Needed Qualifications

· Bachelor education in engineering, any self-discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical substance, etc.)

· Will need to have NEBOSH International Common Certificate, Diploma desired

· Internal Audit training and encounter, preferably on ISO 45001

· OSHAD Accreditation recommended (any quality as HSEMS Generalist)

· Affiliation with any inner HSE corporation (IOSH for instance) chosen

Contract duration: two years
