Campus Physical Development Manager – Zayed University – Abu Dhabi

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director, CPDO, the incumbent will guide and manage theCPDO united team to meet up operating goals of the section in Abu Dhabicampus.The successful candidate provides overall administrativemanagement and coordination of a number of projects linked to the newcampus in Abu Dhabi. Supervising and arranging will undoubtedly be key roles playedas the Manager of the division.

The Responsibilities
Managing Functions in Abu Dhabi Campus

  • Provides leadership and administration for thefacilities operations of the Abu Dhabi campus and relatedsites. These duties include planningsupport,supervision,task management of agreements.
  • Potential clients and manages the day-to-day functions ofCPD Abu Dhabi and the amenities management providers provided byexternal services suppliers.

  • Within broad management guidance by DirectorCPDO, the incumbent will undoubtedly be given significant latitude to effectivelymanage all areas of CPD management at Abu Dhabi campusincluding,Building contacts at appropriate level in Zayed University andrepresenting CPDO services and programs; and collaborating with variouscommittees frequently to make sure clear and open commitment and communication.
  • The effectiveness and quality of the contactswill have a direct impact on the success of any projects.
  • Regular interaction with Campus PhysicalDevelopment Office, Purchasing, suppliers, contractorson and consultants new and ongoing projects.
  • Close connection with all Campus PhysicalDevelopment Office associates.
  • The Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Project Management orEngineering from a certified institution and at the least a decade ofexperience in the regions of project management, facilities management oran equivalent mix of education, skill or experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skillsto connect to a diverse selection of individuals
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Conversant in deploying it applications, MS Project.
  • Business experience in the UAE a secured asset.
  • Excellent project management, planning andorganizational skills.
  • Strategic thinker and proven experience leadinga team.
  • Commercial ability and acumen to assemble andanalyze market data.
  • Preferred Requirements

  • Experience employed in an academic environment.
