BUSINESS ASSOCIATE – Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank

ROLE PURPOSE:

Role Purpose: To lead  and manage the mandated CFIB transactions from inception to completion beneath the supervision of senior associates to attain timely closure of deals, over the whole suite of items for CFIB, work closely with the origination teams to identify deal lead and opportunities and guide junior staff on modeling, customer research and pitches. Overall accountability for designated deal and revenue contribution to the complete CFIB budget

Key Responsibilities & Performance Indicators

Transaction Structuring
Assist deal team in originating and executing transactions (according to the designated budget)
Use RM’s to analyse and show seniors transactions that CFIB could have fun with an essential role in (Financing, ECM, DCM, Advisory)
Concentrate on developing financial models, pitch-books and deal documentation
Work closely with Sharia to recognize viable Shari’a structures for possible deals and build relationships lawyers and sharia to document exactly the same
Execution of CFIB transactions including preparing and negotiating term sheets, credit approvals, Shari’a structuring, mandate letters, modelling, coordinating documentation with banks, aDIB and lawyers Shari’a
Transaction Administration & The day to day management of transaction execution for each deal – distribution of workflow execution
Lead, responsibilities, quality and integrity of information/ legal documentation/financial modelling, meeting deadlines/customer expectations and contractual obligations of ADIB mandates
Efficient communication to seniors and in examining and presenting tips about deals in due time to allow decision producing
Other
Perform industry wide/sector research to recognize and flag potential deal opportunities
Prepare robust financial models for deals with the capacity of creating credit / valuation analytics                     
Standardize pitches, credentials along with other CFIB documents
Strengthen execution skills through on job training familiarize self with documentation and different Sharia structures and key issues connected with them
Ensure the maintenance of data files according to credit policies
Coordinate the offer closure mechanics and focus on customer requests post closure, in compliance with deal documentation and coordinate exactly the same with agency, Banks and cbg while appropriate
 

Relationship Administration
Develop connection with current and potential clients and create confidence and confidence as an instrument to soliciting future company at a later phase
Use RMs along with other departments to originate and conclude deals and enhance analysis high quality
Develop human relationships with lawyers, consultants along with other providers for CFIB                     
Coach even more junior associates and help them create their core analyst abilities; such as economic presentations
