Assistant Vice President – Development – Aldar – Abu Dhabi



  • Help out with the continuing business advancement activities for land, home retail and mixed-use resources as directed by the relative line manager.
  • Help out with developing feasibility research for home, retail and mixed-use possessions and seek acceptance from line supervisor
  • Perform task costing in coordination with Task Administration.
  • Develop financial design in collaboration with Partnerships & Investment along with other relevant features
  • Liaise with Partnerships & Investments along with other relevant features on feasibility research.
  • Help out with developing feasibility research on owned property:
  • Recommend allocation of particular property by segment on property plots
  • Recommend property phasing program
  • Recommend in insight to the prices of land plots predicated on cost benchmark of comparable property plots
  • Analysis and Recommend unit price by property plot
  • Perform infrastructure costing in coordination with Functions. Perform advanced cost break down of infrastructure (recoverable versus non recoverable expenses)
  • Develop financial design and feasibility research. Liaise with various Expense Analysis along with other relevant features on feasibility research
  • Review the Delivery group progress and record on improvement of the shipping and the timely handing over of federal government related assets to lessen O+M expenses and land expenses
  • Collate input from inner and external stakeholders. Record and evaluation on pre-concept test suit, concept master strategy and detailed master program developed and managed by the master arranging function.
  • Help out with review, update , suggest and review on the allocated property bank from inception, design, delivery of infrastructure, authority handovers, growth and sales on property plots.
  • Use market intelligence reports to suggest land use requirements for master plans; complementing supply with demand.
  • Use Market reports and media Publication to recognize trends in Development products linked to life style and suggest land use and products that may overall improve the project attractiveness and profitability.
  • Review and update advancement supervisor on schedules for property development together with Controls and Delivery.
  • Perform continuous tabs on project and style deliverables, risk and program register.
  • Provide constant progress updates and monthly composed reports on construction progress.
  • Identify major issues or conflicts and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Monitor development budgets against projected and actual costs and recommend appropriate solutions on deviations
  • Support in determining on refined commercial strategy structured on recommendation from Commercial (e.g. prices, sales phasing, etc.)
  • Support in choosing on marketing strategy (e.g. marketing calendar, branding, etc…)
  • Support in deciding on Asset, FM and pm strategy, make sure proper coordination and handover with PM and FM entities and Asset Manager.



Min of: 8+ yrs of development management knowledge in handling the
growth of large home and retail property resources of over AED 500 million in worth.

  • Strong knowledge of valuation, appraisals and financial modeling of business and residential development.
  • Strong knowledge and contact with the GCC market with large get better at developers with annual income of at the very least AED 2 billion.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural building and design.
  • Solid knowledge of contract procurement plans and procedures obtained in the Procurement functionality of a genuine estate programmer in the GCC real estate business

Bachelor diploma in property, land economics, home valuation, architecture or engineering
