Applications for UKGBC’s Future Leaders 2022 programme are now open

THE UNITED KINGDOM Green Building Council (UKGBC) has opened up applications for the 2022 cohort of its prestigious Future Leaders Programme, wanting to attract a choose group of the very best and brightest minds in the constructed environment to spotlight critical issues dealing with the sector.

Just last month the UN released a “code red for humanity” with the publication of the  landmark IPCC report . The findings which possess reverberated across all sectors, sending an obvious message to businesses of most sizes&nbsp and shapes;that critical industry advocacy on the climate crisis has been more urgent and&nbsp never;immediate action must be used. An essential part of this step shall be upskilling the current workforce to raised understand how the operations of any business contributes to the climate crisis and determining what changes should be made.

Designed to inspire another generation of leaders, the  Future Leaders challenge  is for forward-thinking professionals with 5-10 years’ experience that are keen to confront critical sustainability issues facing the built environment industry. By way of a concentrate on both personal leadership and radical sustainability transformation, delegates will develop the mindsets and abilities required to support their organisation to innovate and make change happen.  

The 2022 programme will stepped on the span of five months from January, day workshops showcasing two intensive personally two, with expert facilitators and speakers, in June before a showcase event. Delegates will collaborate remotely between these sessions to hone their leadership co-create and skills innovative concepts.  

Subsequent graduation from the programme, the 2022 cohort will join over 230 continue&nbsp and people;to collaborate through involvement in the  Future Leadership Forum,  which brings opportunities for further professional access and development to an increasing number of thought-leaders right over the built atmosphere value chain. The deadline for applications to Future Leaders 2022 is October mid.
