The Design 5900 Flood Eliminator (FE) from AGF Manufacturing can be an attachment that prevents damaged auxiliary drains from flooding a service. It is made to allow condensate water to get in a typical drum drip normally. If offered the pressurized movement that would derive from a unsuccessful drum drip, it trips to take off that flow automatically, eliminating the damage plus flooding that would derive from the program’s failure. The Flood Eliminator could be pre-assembled to AGF’s COLLECTANDRAIN auxiliary drains or retrofitted to current auxiliary drains.
Auxiliary Drains (also known as low-stage drains or drum drips) are needed for each portion of trapped pipe in a dried out or pre-action fire defense system. They gather the moisture that condensates from the pressurized surroundings in the machine while minimizing lack of air stress during maintenance. Dried out and pre-action fire safety systems have to be taken care of by emptying the auxiliary drains that gather water. COLLECTanDRAIN auxiliary drains prevent system excursions from improper vandalism or upkeep sufficient reason for regular maintenance, assist in preventing system breakdowns as a complete result of freeze-ups.
The patent pending Model 5900FElectronic is made to be set up above the very best valve of the auxiliary drain assembly and is usually housed in a 3.5″ brass body with a 1″ women NPT inlet and a 1″ man NPT outlet. If the drain below a Flood Eliminator fails, the dried out valve shall open, producing a pressurized water getting into the operational program flowing towards the split. When this higher velocity pressurized flow gets to the engineered internal system of the Flood Eliminator specifically, it shall turn off the flow and prevent the flooding.
The Flood Eliminator will not require power and can reset when the program is reset automatically. It is appropriate for dry and pre-action techniques using regular compressed nitrogen or air flow.
