o     Cleaning Components, Equipment, and Strategies – Understanding of use, handling, storage space, and disposal of cleansing chemical substances and equipment (including Materials Safety Data Sheet specifications), and usage of personal protective products.

o     Housekeeping Monitoring and Stock – Understanding of stock and purchasing policies, techniques, and guidelines. This includes the opportunity to track and keep maintaining inventory, track and purchase receivables and payments, set up and keep maintaining inventory logs or techniques, and basic cart treatment.

o     Common Housekeeping – Understanding of procedures, techniques and guidelines for cleaning all open public areas, trash removal and handling, room item positioning and replenishment, treatment of space stain and damage elimination, usage of cleaning supplies, floor maintenance and care, common housekeeping codes, cart treatment, spa linen, uniform manage, inventory management, room position change systems and starting and closing of the homely house.  Capability to use common housekeeping codes to point area readiness.

o     EIWO (Everything In Working Purchase) – The opportunity to inspect and recognize guest space components  (electronic.g., lights, remote control, air conditioners, toilets, devices, vacuums) for useful deficiencies.  This consists of reporting methods.

o     Common Laundry – Understanding of proper processing of varied types of textiles, colors and fabrics, including techniques stain elimination, dry cleaning, cleaning and drying of terry, F&B linens, and bed linens.  Linen quality manage, to add discards, ragging, etc.

o     Environment Sustainability – Understanding of products and processes that decrease, recycle or reuse organic resources such as bed linens and towel re-use applications.

o     Security/Loss Prevention – Understanding of the procedures and approaches for property surveillance, property keys and locks, emergency situations, and defensible incident legally, accident, and injury investigations.

o     Public Safety – Knowledge of processes and procedures to ensure public health and safety in regards to Norovirus and Bloodborne pathogens and pest elimination (i.e. bed bugs, ants, etc.).

o     Preventative Maintenance – Understanding of general cleaning programs and policies to increase the life span of materials and areas. For instance, understanding of carpet, tile, and floor care including daily cleaning, heavy extraction, and interim cleaning.

o     Purchasing and Materials Management – Understanding of practices and procedures needed to maintain material, supplies and equipment; including vendor contract and identification negotiation, supply purchasing and requisition, and inventory control.

·          Basic Competencies – Fundamental competencies necessary for accomplishing basic work activities.

o     Basic Computer Skills – Uses basic computers and software (e.g., computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.).

o     Mathematical Reasoning – Demonstrates capability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly, correctly, and in a genuine way that allows someone to solve work-related issues.

o     Oral Comprehension – Demonstrates capability to pay attention to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

o     Reading Comprehension – Demonstrates knowledge of written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
