Job Description
Emirates National Standards Classification of Occupations
Direct and coordinate EMV operations within LOD procedures and policies. |
Planning Work Schedules. |
Preparation of price lists, proposals, estimation and quotations as required. |
Monitoring progress, quality of work, compliance with regulations, costs and speed of completion stages. |
Ensuring that the commercial implications of operations and legal entities are managed and understood. |
Ensure Department Heads carry out specific method statements and risk assessments for operations. |
Establish specific targets and KPI’s for performance. |
Identify and foster the adoption of “best practice” mechanism, techniques and models throughout the operational business. |
Establish and maintain a positive work environment relationship. |
Select and train EMV administrative and supervisory staff. |
Examine EMV requests and recommend the most suitable type of equipment having regard to price, running costs, availability of parts and after sales service, resale or trade-in value and whether vehicles, eMV or trucks are to be traded in, sold by public tender or auctioned. |
Ensure that the most appropriate equipment is purchased to enable effective and efficient operations. |
Ensure communication to staff of plans, directions, objectives, targets and standards and report on changes and performances against plans regularly. |
Review work practices and patterns and bring about workplace change within the operations. |
Achieve compliance with statutory requirements, industry codes and standards of practice. |
Implement Total Quality Management principles and practices within the Operations sections. |
Be available to relieve in a higher position |
Any other duties consistent with the principle objectives of the position. |
